On Protocol V2 the merchant is paid amount - fee. The borrower is debited the billed amount. Gas for settleBatch is paid by the protocol. The backend default is 250 basis points (2.5%). If the merchant record sets a fee override, that value replaces the default for that merchant. The facilitator computes the fee. It is not a field you put on the capture body. Of the deducted fee, SohoSettlementV2 allocates 60% toward vault yield and 40% to the protocol fee recipient. That is a split of the fee, not a second charge.
The public terms on the marketing site describe a merchant fee of 1% to 2%, default 1.5%. That sentence and the backend default of 2.5% do not match. Read the fee on the merchant you were provisioned with, or on the captured payment, rather than hard-coding either number. This page will follow the code until those sources are aligned.
There is no separate interest charge described on the agent draw in the settlement contract. A late fee, if one is assessed, is a servicing term and is not part of the facilitator request.
